What's the difference between VVS, VS, and SI clarity?
Clarity refers to the number of natural inclusions inside a diamond. VVS diamonds have inclusions so small they're invisible even under magnification. VS diamonds have minor inclusions that require magnification to see. SI diamonds have inclusions visible under magnification but typically not to the naked eye. For most people, a VVS2 or VS1 hits the sweet spot — you get a clean stone without paying for perfection you can't see.
What do the colour grades mean?
Diamond colour is graded from D (completely colourless) to Z (visible yellow tint). D, E, and F are colourless — the difference between them is nearly impossible to detect with the naked eye. We stock D through F because they're the grades where colour simply isn't a factor.
What carat size should I buy?
Carat measures weight, not size — but the two are closely related. With lab-grown diamonds, buyers are going bigger than ever — the average lab-grown engagement ring is now around 2 carats, simply because the price makes it possible. That said, the right size depends on the setting, her hand, and your budget. If you're unsure, reach out and we'll help you find the right balance.
Do your diamonds come with certification?
Every diamond in our inventory comes with grading documentation confirming its exact specs — carat, cut, colour, and clarity. No guessing, no taking our word for it. You know exactly what you're getting before you commit.
How do I know the diamond I'm buying is worth what I'm paying?
Every diamond in our inventory comes with grading documentation confirming its specs. Every engagement ring also includes a certified insurance appraisal — an independent confirmation of your ring's value. You're not taking our word for it. You have paperwork.
